Stockist Spotlight: Newbo Shops at 208

This is the first in a series of posts that talk about the stores that carry my products. These places are a huge part of what makes my business successful, and I appreciate them so much!

About Newbo Shops at 208

This cute little shop has been located in heart of the NewBo District neighborhood in Cedar Rapids, IA since 2015. The store is owned by Joan Gray, Kellie Sauser and Jennifer Morris. Each lady has her own handmade business. Their products are available in the shop and you've probably seen them for sale at local events:

I discovered Newbo Shops before they had even opened. I was walking by with my husband, Paul, and saw Joan and her husband painting inside with the door propped open. So I stuck my head in and asked a few questions. They were opening a gift shop! So I introduced myself and gave her a business card, and when they opened Thumbprint Soap was a part of the excitement. I love the NewBo District, so it makes me happy to be able to direct people to that neighborhood when they are looking for a local place to shop my products or other locally made gifts.

Fun fact: Newbo Shops at 208 is a dog friendly store! Stop in with your four-legged friend and pick out some Zoomies dog treats or grab a bar of Wag Wash.
